First Minister Mark Drakeford has revealed details of what the coronavirus rules will be in Wales after the fire-break lockdown - a few points are listed below:

  • There will be no travel restrictions within Wales for residents

  • There will be new arrangements to meet indoors in other settings, such as pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants

  • In relation to organised activity, up to 15 people can take part in an indoors activity and up to 30 in outdoors activity, providing all social distancing, hand hygiene and other Covid safety measures are followed.

  • Business premises reopen from Monday, November 9

  • Two metre social distancing and the need to wear masks in enclose public distancing remains in place/

Mr Drakeford urged people to do as much as they could to limit their contact with other people.

Current restrictions for Bridgend County and Trecco Bay - FIRE BREAK ANNOUNCED

From Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November the following rules will apply:

  • You must stay at home except for very limited reasons, such as essential travel for work.

  • You must not visit other households or meet other people you do not live with, either indoors or outdoors.

  • All leisure, hospitality and non-food retail business will be closed.

Trecco Bay Resorts - Porthcawl, Mid Glamorgan, CF36 5PW is temporarily closing at 6pm Tuesday 22nd September 2020 as there is a lock-down enforced due to Covid-19 in the country of Bridgend.

Update: Until we hear from Parkdean Resorts on 22/09/20, Trecco Bay Resorts - Porthcawl, Mid Glamorgan, CF36 5PW is operating as business as normal.

Bridgend County (Trecco Bay) will be subject to local lock-down rules that come into force at 6pm on Tuesday September 22, 2020.  If you have a booking with us please email us to discuss your rescheduling options.  

Due to the growing number of counties affected by covid-19, we are unfortunately unable to take bookings for the remainder of September, up to mid October. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused during these uncertain times.
